Susan was born in Newport, RI on June 8, 1954 where her fathered was stationed in the U.S. Navy. Her father served 20 years and retired as a Chief Yeoman (E-7). She spent most of her life in San Diego. Her friend from work and my friend from the ship lived at the same apartment complex. Her friend was tired of her dating losers and my friend and his wife was tired of me coming over all the with my bag of Nacho Doritos and a bottle of premix Tequila Sunrise.

When we went downstairs they had to push me through the door since I was starting to chicken out. When I first saw Susan it was love at first sight.
